EU and Lithuania concerned over situation in Georgia
Armenia needs a sustainable Georgia, RA Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian said at a joint news conference with his Lithuanian counterpart Petras Vaitiekunas.

"I am hopeful that the Georgian confrontation will be resolved with political tools," he said.

For his part, Mr Vaitiekunas informed he will depart for Tbilisi upon completing his Armenian visit. "The European Union and Lithuania are concerned over the situation in Georgia. We want to remind that integration into European structures is a significant process for Georgia and it can make the republic adherent to European values. I am confident that my visit to Tbilisi will offer an opportunity to assure the Georgian people of their importance for Europe," he said.
