"We proposed several momentums in today's meeting in the framework of base agreement. We believe that Presidents of the two states will solve these issues till elections - within forthcoming weeks and months. We presented our proposals to Ministers for further submission to Presidents. We held rich talks within past three months. Now we offer a compromising solution to the parties to Nagorno Karabakh conflict. We expect them to agree on base principles till election campaigns kick off," OSCE Minsk Group U.S. Co-chair Matthew Bryza said when commenting on the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers in presence of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Nicholas Burns.

Matthew Bryza said that Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents will possibly agree to base principles till forthcoming elections. The possibility of a ministerial or presidential meeting depends on sides and the Co-chairs are awaiting their response, Mr Bryza noted.

Commenting on Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev's statement on war probability with Armenia, the mediator said: "This process continues over 10 years and we all perceive that it must be resolved peacefully," APA reports.
