Magnitude 3.5 quake registered in northern Armenia

A magnitude 3.5 earthquake was registered 11 km southeast to the city of Gyumri in Armenia on Tuesday, July 4, at 10:21 am local time (0621 GMT).

The earthquake was about 10 kilometers deep and was felt in Gyumri, as well as the towns of Stepanavan and Artik and the village of Ashotsk.

Another quake was registered on the Armenian-Turkish border on June 29.
