U.S. never denied mass killings of Armenians in Ottoman Empire
"Every year on April 24 the U.S. President addresses the Armenian nation to express condolences on mass killings of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire in 1915. We have never denied this fact," U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Bryza said at Wider Black Sea: Perspectives for International and Regional Security international conference.

"There are problems with terms top officials use. As to H.Res.106, I am confident that historical issues are not the prerogative of legislators," the diplomat said.
