Armenia eyes better visa conditions, lower airticket prices

Armenian prime minister Karen Karapetyan at a cabinet session on Thursday, July 27 instructed the foreign minister and the chairwoman of the state tourism committee to study further simplification of visa regime liberalization by countries, Aysor.am reports.

Also, the PM said the General Department of Civil Aviation must study prospects for the further expansion of Armenia's air communications and the improvement of airticket prices.

"We have been seeing a significant growth in the number of tourist arrivals and flights," Karapetyan told the cabinet session.

World’s longest zipline whose construction is currently underway in Armenia will be ready this summer, while a fresh extreme park will be established in Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh).
