Former Manchester United midfileder Ryan Giggs has admitted that he has been delighted by Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s powerful start to the new season at Old Trafford.

"They look powerful with Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku, but what is pleasing to see is the creative players doing well as well," Giggs said in an interview with Sky Sports.

"Henrikh Mkhitaryan already has four assists and that will do him the world of good, so hopefully he can get back to his Dortmund form."

Manchester United are now preparing to host Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday, August 26 afternoon as they look to maintain their 100 per cent record in the top flight.

In the game against Swansea, the Armenia international provided two assists.
