Georgia ready to sign agreement on non-deployment of NATO bases
In case of accession to NATO, Georgia is ready to conclude an agreement with Russia on non-deployment of the Alliance's forces on its territory, said Georgy Baramidze, Deputy Prime Minister for Integration into Euro-Atlantic Structures.

"We do understand that Russia is concerned about the issue," he said.

"The Georgian population views membership in NATO as a guarantee of territorial integrity. However, Georgia will take account of Russia's interests in the Caucasus," he said, Kommersant daily reports.
