Minister of transport, communication and IT Vahan Martirosyan has expressed readiness to assist Armenian IT specialists employed by Samsung who would like to launch corporations or research centers in Armenia.
Martirosyan was meeting members of the Armenian community of Seoul who work in the IT sector on the sidelines of the Global Infrastructure Cooperation Conference, which will run through Wednesday, September 6.
At the meeting, the minister said he is ready to assist young professionals who would like to establish IT centers or production in Armenia.
Also, Martirosyan offered the specialists to participate in the process of designing a system for monitoring urban transport flows in Armenian towns.
The Armenian government has prioritized the development of the IT sector in the country. Top officials recently held meeting with Microsoft representatives who offered their experience in telemedicine and expertise to help Armenia implement its digital agenda.
