100,000 passengers used world's longest cable car in 2017

The world's longest non-stop double track cable car, which is situated in Armenia's south and is known as Wings of Tetev, serviced its 100,000th visitor on Friday, September 8.

According to head of Tatev Gateway Complex Vahe Baghdasaryan, an unprecedented number of people have used the services of Wings of Tatev this year.

The number of visitors in the first eight months of 2017 grew by 38% against the same period last year, proving that the world's longest cable car has become one of Armenia's most important tourist sites," Baghdasaryan said.

Since the day of its launch, 600,000 passengers have used the cable car overall.
