Yerevan was included in the list of top five autumn destinations for rest among Russians in a list compiled by Euromag and search service Aviasales.ru.

The publication describes the Armenian capital as a good option for those who like to eat delicious food.

Citing the Armenian barbecue, khash and, of course, the famous Ararat brandy, Euromag says tourists can visit the factory to find more about the process of making the beverage.

"One of the most famous Armenian temples is Grandfather Levon's underground cave, located next to Yerevan," the article says, adding that the Blue Mosque and the district of Kond - a "piece" of the old city - are must-sees.

Besides Yerevan, the list includes Munich, Nice, Budapest and Madrid.
