Armenian, Georgian FMs talk bilateral relations, Karabakh conflict

Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian on Monday, September 11 met his Georgian counterpart Mikheil Janelidze to discuss bilateral ties, trade relations and the conflict in Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh).

The two diplomats noted with satisfaction that relations between the two countries have been dynamically developing over the past years.

The sides weighed in on cooperation in international organizations, inter-parliamentary ties, as well as partnership in the fields of tourism, culture, energy and transport infrastructures.

Also, the foreign policy chiefs discussed issues concerning the Georgian-Armenian community.

At the end of the meeting, Nalbandian briefed Janelidze on the current developments surrounding the Karabakh conflict and Armenia and the OSCE's efforts to create conditions for pushing the process forward.
