Three winners of ClimateLaunchpad Armenia will depart for Cyprus to participate in the grand final of the world’s largest green business idea competition.

In particular, Advanced Biofuel/Biodiesel (fuel from household oil), EcoPad, the first Armenian re-usable notebook, and AWCA (Atmospheric Water Generator for Cars) were the ideas selected out of a total of 10 entries at the national final round of the competition in Armenia.

The event was organized by the New Technology Education Fund, while the professional jury included prominent Armenian figures representing the country's IT industry.

The grand final will be held in Limasol, Cyprus on October 17-18.

The Top-10 competitors in the grand final will get direct access to the Climate-KIC Accelerator, the renowned business school where great ideas grow into great businesses. On top of that there is also prize money. The overall winner of the Grand Final receives € 10,000, the runner up gets € 5,000 and the idea that comes in third place wins € 2,500.

All other National Finalists who made it to the grand final get a chance to pitch their idea to the review board of Climate-KIC Accelerator.
