Cyprus confirms opposition to Kosovo unilateral independence
Currently in Tallinn, Cypriot Foreign Minister Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis confirmed opposition to Kosovo's unilateral independence.

At a meeting with Estonian parliament members, Ms. Kozakou-Marcoullis said Cyprus will never recognize Kosovo's independence if it's not coordinated with the UN Security Council. She reminded about the "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" which is not recognized either by the UN or any other international organization.

"Kosovo should be handed the same approach," Ms. Kozakou-Marcoullis said. "Belgrade and Pristina should be given more time for talks," she added, Postimees.ee reports.

Romania also announced opposition to unilateral proclamation of Kosovo's independence.
