EU: elections in Armenia and Azerbaijan won't have adverse effect on Karabakh process
The European Union is confident that presidential elections in Armenia and Azerbaijan will not have an adverse affect on peaceful resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel told reporters in Baku.

"The EU closely watches the settlement process and every agreement achieved by the sides inspires hope," Mr Rupel said.

"The European Union rules out resolution of the Karabakh conflict by the use of force. The sides should understand that resolution will promote development of the entire region," EU Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner said, Trend reports.
