Turkey: Kosovo independence to hamper classic ways of conflict resolution
Azerbaijan should be prepared to brisk up diplomatic activities after proclamation of Kosovo's independence, said Mensur Akgun, Director of the Foreign Policy Program of the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (TESEV).

"States experiencing problems of the kind will assure that independence of Kosovo will not affect them. However, this incident will influence the stability in the region in both positive and negative ways and will also be a precedent for the Cyprus and Nagorno Karabakh cases. Most of EU member states are likely to recognize Kosovo in the near future, thus posing an obstacle in classic ways of conflict resolution. Azerbaijan should be prepared to brisk up diplomatic activities," he said, APA reports.
