Sargsyan to promote development of relations with Russia, Putin says
Russia's President Vladimir Putin congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on victory in the presidential election.
The address says, in part, "Russia values highly the relationship remarkable for trust, cooperation and mutual support. Consistent strengthening of partnership meets the interests of Russian and Armenian people and promotes stability in Transcaucasia. I make special mention of your contribution to development of the Russian-Armenian relations. I am confident that your activity at the post of President will help further progress."
