Ter-Petrosyan: Armenian opposition movement to find broad response of international community
"The situation tends to develop more favorably than I planned," Armenia's ex-President told an opposition rally in Yerevan.

The opposition succeeded in attracting the attention of the international community to developments in the republic, according to him.

"Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan are desperate. The ground is slipping from under their feet. Their associates are trying to establish contact with us. But the opposition will never accept them and they will be called to account for their deeds," he said.

"Law enforcers arrest our supports but their number doesn't reduce. The authorities will not dare to assault the demonstrators," he said, adding, "Each arrest bring closer the day when the authorities will decline. Let them arrest me. I am ready," he said.

He warned that the authorities will gradually change their policy and suppress small and medium business.

"The Armenian opposition movement will find broad response of the international community. NATO, European Union and Council of Europe will make statements soon. We will put an end to information blockade," he said, IA Regnum reports.
