2008 presidential election best in Armenia's history, Kocharian says
Armenia has come across an ordinary post election phenomenon, namely, absence of political culture, Armenian President Robert Kocharian told the Public Television of Armenia.

"The problem is that the unsuccessful party doesn't want to accept the situation. The presidential election received a high estimation of international observers. This election was the best in Armenia's history. There can't be an election without violations. But there is a legal way to issue complaints. Re-count of votes was held in 135 polling stations. The head of the election commission of the constituency, where serious violations were revealed, was arrested. 86 complaints received from Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Artur Baghdasaryan's supporters proved groundless," the President said.
