Turkey's Besiktas looking to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan: report

Turkish football club Besiktas is reportedly interested in signing midfielder of the Armenian national team and Manchester United playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

According to Turkish media reports, Mkhitaryan may replace Brazilian attacking midfielder and forward Talisca, who plays for Besiktas, on loan from Portuguese club Benfica.

Talisca's contract with the Turkish club is expiring at the end of the season.

As reported earlier, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says he won’t stand in the way of Marouane Fellaini or Mkhitaryan if they want to leave the club in January.

Fellaini, 30, is out of contract at the end of the season and refused the club’s last offer, while Mkhitaryan has been left out of eight of United’s last nine matchday squads after a drop in form.
