Ter-Petrosyan briefed Semneby on post-election situation in Armenia
Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan met Wednesday with EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Mr Peter Semneby.

As reported by Ter-Petrosyan's headquarters, the opposition leader briefed the European diplomat on the post-election situation in Armenia and said that his movement will take action in compliance with the Constitution.

Commenting on his position on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Ter-Petrosyan told his supporters yesterday, "The incumbent authorities have created an impression that I was planning to cede Karabakh to Azerbaijan and they came to rescue it. Owing to them, any rational approach to the problem is rated to treason and meanness. They had time to think over the issue but maintenance of status quo was a loss for Armenia," he said.

The nation can't be misled by slogans "Armenia, forward!", "Armenia, backward!", "Armenia, to the right!", Armenia, to the left", Levon Ter-Petrosyan said.
