Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was named the man of the match in Arsenal’s back-to-back win over Watford on Sunday, March 11.

The followed another one over AC Milan, with the Armenia international scoring on the two consecutive games.

After the match on Sunday, Mkhitaryan said to the fans: "You know we are always playing for the fans and it doesn't matter if they could have come today or not.

"We're always playing for those who come and support us, who are really supporting us, they are real fans who are not just coming to the stadium when we are winning, we have nothing to say.

"Just thanks to the fans who were supporting today."

Arsenal signed Mkhitaryan in a swap deal from Manchester United in the January transfer window after Alexis Sanchez completed a switch to Old Trafford.
