Baku: UN resolution determines parameters for further talks on Karabakh
"We have numerously stated that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict can be settled in the framework of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity. It means withdrawal of Armenia's occupying forces from all territories, including Nagorno Karabakh," said Khazar Ibrahim, head of the Azeri MFA press office.

He said status of Nagorno Karabakh can be determined only after withdrawal of Armenian troops.

It's incomprehensible and erroneous that the OSCE Minsk Group opposed a resolution calling for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity. The resolution reflects part of the proposals submitted by the MG in Madrid. If the UN adopts a resolution, it should be observed by all, including the OSCE MG and Armenia," Khazar Ibrahim said, adding, "The OSCE MG co-chairs should understand that such moves undermine their activities," Day.az reports.

Two days ago, Armenia's Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian said Armenia is ready for a presidential meeting during NATO summit in Bucharest on April 3-4. "Serzh Sargsyan has agreed to meet. The matter depends on the Azeri President. At that, the agenda will include the resolution on Karabakh adopted by the UN General Assembly on March 14," he said.

"If Azerbaijan keeps on putting forth the principles of the resolution, Serzh Sargsyan should announce senselessness of further talks. In this case, Armenia will have to reconsider its approaches and focus on ensuring NKR's security. If Baku agrees to continue talks on the basis of the OSCE MG proposals, we are ready to negotiate," the Minister said.
