Russian Duma set to approve Putin nomination for Prime Minister
The Russian State Duma will gather to approve the nomination of Vladimir Putin for the post of Russia's Prime Minister, Duma chairman Borisd Gryzlov said.
"Inauguration of President-elect Dmitry Medvedev is due on May 7. The candidacy for the post of Prime Minister is known and the majority of the Duma members will support Vladimir Putin. The nomination will apparently be announced on May 7 and approved on May 8," he said, RBC reports.
