The OSCE Minsk Group dealing with the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement is not eyed as a mediating mission any longer, Third View analytical information agency editor-in-chief said in Yerevan today.

"The conflict should be resolved through talks between Yerevan and Baku with participation of the Armenian and Azeri communities of Nagorno Karabakh," Rauf Rajabov told Caucasus 2007 international conference.

The OSCE MG pursues the policy of world powers and doesn't care about Karabakh settlement. Of course, it did much for resolution of the conflict but recently our countries have become a 'small change' for the U.S. and Russia, according to him.

Rajabov said Armenia should participate in regional projects. "Russia should abandon the South Caucasus. The countries of the region are Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Russia is neither regional nor Caucasian state. We should take up Turkey's model of development," he said, adding that Azerbaijan has no intention to break off relations with Russia.

"Russia is a nuclear power and we do not want to strain relations," Rajabov said.
