Armenia participated in NATO PA session
The Armenian parliamentary delegation led by chairman of the standing committee on armament, internal affairs and security Artur Aghabekyan attended the NATO PA spring session in Berlin May 24-27, the RA MFA press office reported.
The Armenian delegation and Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchyan to NATO attended the meetings on politics, defense and security.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer also addressed the session.
The participants discussed the Alliance's new strategy, energy security and the bloc's expansion eastwards.
