Armenia, France may sign agreement on military cooperation
Armenia's Foreign Minister Seyran Ohanyan met Tuesday with France's Ambassador to Armenia Serge Smessov, Minister's Spokesman, Colonel Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net.

Noting the importance of the Armenian-French relations, Minister Ohanyan said that France's probable participation in NATO exercise due in Armenia in September-October 2008 will promote cooperation between the two states and result in signing of an agreement on military cooperation.

Touching on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Ambassador Smessov said that as the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair, France should keep balance in military cooperation with Armenia and Azerbaijan.
