The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has allegedly deployed to the northern part of Manbij, which is near the front-lines with the Turkish-backed rebels, Al-Masdar News reports.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the military is currently conducting patrols around the northern countryside of Manbij.
As a result, the Syrian army is now positioned all over the Manbij countryside; however, they still do not have any presence inside the city.
The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are currently in full control of Manbij, despite constant threats from the Turkish regime.
