Director of the United States National Intelligence Dan Coats has warned of a large-scale military conflict in Nagorno Karabakh.

"Tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the Nagorno Karabakh region remains a potential source for a large-scale military conflict," Coats said in his worldwide threat assessment.

According to him, such a development "might draw in Russia."
