Armenia to deliver energy to Turkey from 2009
Armenia will launch delivery of electricity to Turkey in 2009.

Initially, the republic will deliver 1.5 bln. kilowatt-hour per year. Then, the amount will reach 3.5 bln. kilowatt-hour, Armenian Enegry and Natural Resources Minister Armen Movsisyan told reporters today.

The agreement on electricity supply was signed during Turkish President Gul's visit to Armenia.

As to the tariffs, they will depend on rise in thermal energy and gas prices, the Minister said. "Today, it would make 5,7 cents per kilowatt-hour," he said.
