Simmons: Armenia-NATO relations promising
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met Monday with NATO's special representative for South Caucasus and Central Asia Robert Simmons to discuss the Armenia-NATO relations and exchange views on regional security, the RA leader's press office reported.

"European trend is one of priorities of Armenia's foreign policy while cooperation with NATO is a constituent of the republic's security. Armenia will continue to partner with the Alliance," President Sargsyan said.

He also presented Armenia's position on the latest regional developments, resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations.

Fir his part, Mr. Simmons welcomed Yerevan's initiatives to normalize relations with neighboring Turkey.
