Turkey ready to mediate between U.S. and Iran
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said his country could mediate tensions between the United States and Iran.

"We are ready to mediate and we can be useful. Ankara is concerned about the Iran-U.S. relations and stands for resolution of problems through diplomatic talks. War is not a solution," he said, RIA Novosti reports.

The U.S. and Iran broke off diplomatic relations in 1979. Presently, Iran neglects U.S. demands to end its nuclear program.
