Armenia to join Russian parliamentary commission on Caucasus as observer
Russia's council of legislators will approve formation of a standing parliamentary committee on Caucasus, according to Alexander Torshin, the first vice-speaker of the Federation Council.

The new structure will deal with the situation in Northern Caucasus republic develop stabilization plans.

The commission will include South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia as observers, Vedomosti newspaper reports.
