Meeting on Caucasus Platform likely late January
Ankara is likely to host a regular meeting on the Caucasus Stability and Cooperation Platform in late January, Haberler.com reports.

In December 2008, Turkey's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic said an agreement on the Turkish initiative may be signed.

"Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia held their initial meeting. Presently, the working group is developing a draft agreement," Amb. Kilic said.

Following hostilities in South Ossetia, Ankara offered to form a Caucasus Stability and Cooperation Platform, which could unite Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.

RA President Serzh Sarsgyan welcomed the initiative as an attempt to create a favorable atmosphere in the region.
