WASHINGTON NOT TO INDULGE AZERBAIJAN IN ITS MILITARIST THREATS
Washington is not to indulge Azerbaijan in its threats to defeat the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. As the Armenian Assembly of America reported, the US congressman Joe Knolenberg has stated that drawing his colleagues' attention to the regular militarist calls of the official Baku. According to him, the brittle reconciliation in the confrontation zone at present is threatened with the permanent statements of the Azeri authorities on settlement of the conflict through use of force. As an example, the congressman has cited the July 2 statements of the Azeri head on his intention "to have our lands back in any way". Such irresponsible statements, according to Knolenberg impede the peacemaking activities of the OSCE Minsk group.
