Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and the Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Ambassador Yuri Merzlyakov of Russia, Ambassador Matthew Bryza of the United States and Ambassador Bernard Fassier of France, have completed their meeting in Yerevan.
The diplomats discussed the current stage of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, head of the RA MFA media relations division Tigran Balayan told PanARMENIAN.Net.
When in Baku, Ambassador Yuri Merzlyakov said he believes that Armenia and Azerbaijan can agree on basic principles of resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict in the near future.
"If the sides demonstrate political will, we will be able to reach agreement on the basic principles," he said, adding that the main goal of the current regional visit is to promote adoption of Madrid provisions and continuation of talks.
Minister Nalbandian reiterated Armenia's willingness to continue talks on the basis of Madrid principles and the outcomes of Moscow and Helsinki meetings.
