The issues of creation of the World Armenian Organization were discussed July 4 in Paris at the meeting of the Union of Armenians of Russia (UAR) chairman Ara Abrahamian with the French president Jacques Chirac. It should be noted that last year A. Abrahamian spoke with the initiative of uniting all the Armenian Diasporas of 72 countries into a unified organization. The first world congress of Armenians, in the course of which the chairman of the world Diaspora will be elected is planned to be held in Moscow October 6-8. As A. Abrahamian told "ITAR-TASS" agency, the Armenian Diaspora of France being one of the numerous in the Western Europe (over 500 000) can express its ponderable opinion concerning this issue.
