A decision on formation of CSTO rapid reaction force was taken Wednesday during the extra meeting of the CSTO Council presided by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan in Moscow.

The Armenian President described the decision as "an important move aiming to strengthen the military might of the Organization."

The CSTO Secretary General and CSTO united headquarters were instructed to develop and submit a package of legal acts.

The next meeting was scheduled for June 2009.

Nikolay Bordyuzha was re-appointed as CSTO Secretary of States.
