Tumo Center opens in Moscow; Berlin and Tirana next in line

A Tumo Center has opened in the Russian capital of Moscow to become the third overseas hub for creative technologies established outside Armenia.

Paris and Beirut already host one such center each, while Berlin and Tirana are next in line.

2000 young people will attend after-school courses in programming, graphic design, robotics, 3D modeling, game development, music, movie making and animation. Six other disciplines – website building, drawing, photography, new media, mobile graphics and creative writing – will be added in the future, the center said Wednesday, August 26.

Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin attended the opening of the new Tumo in the center of the Russian capital.

Classes will begin this October to include both distance learning and in-person education.
