Russian experts unable to identify special means used on Mar.1, 2008

Yesterday Yerevan city administration authorized the opposition rally in commemoration of March 2008 events.

Levon Ter-Petrosyan Press Secretary Arman Musinyan informed that Mar. 1 opposition rally will most probably take place at Matenadaran at 15:00.

Earlier the city administration sanctioned Vazgen Sargsyan Stadium as the place of conducting the rally instead of Matenadaran and Northern Avenue, though no incidents had been registered at unsanctioned rallies.

Political elite of Armenia needs renewal. According to National Democrats Coalition leader Arshak Sadoyan, the veterans exhausted themselves. "After parliamentary election results falsification I'm trying to set up a political club to enable communication between different generations' representatives. This will provide gradual generation change on the political field of Armenia", Sadoyan said.

Young Politicians of Armenia Union presentation was held in Yerevan.

According to Union Chairman Arman Vardanyan, union activities will be aimed at the involvement of young generation into basic political processes.

Senior Investigator of Special Inquiry Service Vahagn Harutyunyan presented results of ballistic expertise on КС-23 carbines and Cheremukha 7 gas cartridges.

According to expertise results, it's impossible to determine the carbines to shoot Cheremukha 7 gas cartridges and, consequently, to specify which of the policemen using this weapon on Mar.1, 2008 is guilty of 3 RA citizens death.

Armenia's Ombudsmen Armen Harutyunyan declared about his distrust for expertise results. He spoke about the necessity to withdraw Cheremukha 7 from further use by law-enforcement officers.
