Armenia: average annual salary growth in private sector not to exceed 3 percent in 2009
Preliminary assessment review of Armenian job market registered a drop in labor force demand in 2009, what is accounted for by world financial crisis, CBA 2009 Forecast says.
According to new assessment, the average salary will rise by 8 percent, connected with salary rise for employees of government-financed organizations. In private sector, the average annual growth will not exceed 3 percent.
No pressure on price growth is expected in job market, as united labor force expenditure will decrease in private sector, resulting in decrease of pressure on expenditure growth in state sector.
