Condition of Armenian boy injured in Azeri drone attack stabilizing

The condition of a 14-year old boy badly injured in Azerbaijan's drone attack on Armenia remains serious, Surb Astvatsamayr medical center of Yerevan said Thursday, October 15, noting, however, some positive changes in his vital signs.

According to the hospital, the child's condition is stabilizing, with no need for surgery at the moment.

The adolescent was severely wounded on his way to the field for harvest in Gegharkunik province. The child has a fractured chest injury, left hemopneumothorax, right pneumothorax, abdominal rupture, according to the Armenian Health Ministry.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and Syrian and Libyan mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
