Mnatsakanyan: No Armenia-Azerbaijan summit planned

No meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev is planned, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told reporters on Thursday, November 5.

“As of the moment it (the meeting - Ed.) is not planned. We will announce if such a meeting is planned,” Aysor.am cited Mnatsakanyan as saying.

He also said that at present no meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart is being prepared either, everything depends on the necessity and the situation.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and terrorist mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
