Statements by the Turkish officials that the Armenian Diaspora's calls for worldwide recognition of the Genocide hamper normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations are nothing more but outrageous lie, said Arpi Vartanian, Armenian Assembly of America regional director for Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh.

"Turkey runs counter to justice and truth. People throughout the globe know that the Armenian Genocide should be recognized," she said.
