Karabakh President says has agreed to trilateral deal to end war

Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan said on Tuesday, November 10 that he has agreed to a deal signed by Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan to end the war in Karabakh.

"We spent the whole day with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussing our actions aimed at ending the hostilities․ Prior to that I had discussions with the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, got the consent of the overwhelming majority of the lawmakers," Harutyunyan said.

"Given the dire situation, I have agreed to end the war as soon as possible in order to avoid further casualties and the complete loss of Artsakh. As ras as the trilateral statement is concerned, I will talk about it in detail later."

As reported earlier, Pashinyan has signed a statement with Azerbaijani and Russian Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin on ending the war in Karabakh at 01:00 am Tuesday, November 10.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and terrorist mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
