Russian peacekeepers filmed entering Karabakh

Russian peacekeepers entered Nagorno-Karabakh on Tuesday, November 10, according to a video published by RT.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a statement on Tuesday that peacekeepers will be deployed along the front line in Karabakh following an agreement to stop the war there.

Putin said he hoped the agreements “will set up necessary conditions for a long-lasting and full-scale settlement of the crisis over Nagorno-Karabakh”.

Karabakh (Artsakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan said on Tuesday that he has agreed to the deal signed by Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan to end the war in Karabakh.

Azerbaijan, with help from Turkey and terrorist mercenaries deployed by Ankara, started a war against Karabakh (Artsakh) in the morning of September 27. The Armenian side has reported deaths and injuries both among the civilian population and the military. Foreign and local journalists too have been injured in Azeri shelling of towns and villages.
