The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 1520 to reach 121,979 on Thursday, November 19 morning – a record number of new infections in a single day – according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 8319 more people have recovered, 31 patients have died from Covid-19, while nine others carrying the virus have died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

A total of 3796 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 88,388 people have recovered, 1870 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 478 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
