A Nagorno-Karabakh soldier was killed "in unknown circumstances" on December 15, the Defense Army reports.

The serviceman, Vahe Babayan (b. 2002), died from a gunshot wound in one of the Karabakh Army's north-eastern positions.

An investigation into the details of the incident is underway.
