Bodies of 4 more servicemen recovered in Karabakh

The Armenian side has discovered the bodies of four more servicemen in the village of Mataghis in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the State Emergency Service of Artsakh reports.

"On January 5, four bodies were found on the territory of Mataghis. Today (January 6 - Ed.) search operations will continue in the direction of Talish-Mataghis," said Hunan Tadevosyan, the head of the press service of the Emergency Service.

As of January 5, the Armenian side has recovered the remains of a total of 1188 soldiers and civilians.

Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan said on January 4 that the bodies or remains of 3,360 servicemen have been examined since the beginning of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh. The names of less than 2000 servicemen killed in hostilities unleashed by Azerbaijan against the Armenians of Karabakh have been published by Defense authorities so far.
