Remains of three Armenian servicemen recovered from Jabrayil

The remains of three soldiers were found during search operations in Jabrayil, the head of the Department of Information and Public Relations of Nagorno-Karabakh's State Service for Emergency Situations, Hunan Tadevosyan, said Saturday, January 9, Armenpress reports.

As of January 8, the Armenian side has recovered the remains of a total of 1197 soldiers and civilians.

"Due to the rotation of Russian peacekeepers, search and rescue operations of Saturday and Sunday will continue from Monday (January 11)," Tadevosyan said

The Armenian Health Ministry said on January 4 that the bodies or remains of 3,360 servicemen have been examined since the beginning of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh. The names of less than 2000 servicemen killed in hostilities unleashed by Azerbaijan against the Armenians of Karabakh have been published by Defense authorities so far.
