Georgia eases entry restrictions for air travel from Armenia

Travelers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus will be allowed to enter Georgia beginning from March 1, if they have a negative PCR test from the past 72 hours, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said Wednesday, February 24.

Garibashvili explained that the move will apply only to air borders and that the current restrictions on the land border remain in force, Agenda.ge reports.

Regular flights resumed in Georgia on February 1 and entry rules for Georgian as well as foreign visitors changed that day.
